Begins Title Defense In Vortex Brake Pads 200
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The championship season of 2011 is a thing of the past. Now, it’s time for Scott Steckly to start over again with higher expectations and a bigger target painted on his rear deck lid as the 2012 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series season is finally set to begin.
The new season kicks off at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, formerly Mosport International Raceway, with the Vortex Brake Pads 200 on Sunday, May 20.
Steckly, who’s No. 22 Dodge also bears the Canadian Tire logo, feels he is as ready as ever.

New Season Opens On Familiar Road CourseThe 2012 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series season gets underway on May 19-20 on the 2.459-mile road course at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, formerly Mosport International Raceway, in Bowmanville, Ontario with the Vortex Brake Pads 200.

Partnering With Gaunt Brothers; Eyeing Owner TitleBARRIE, Ontario, Canda - NASCAR Canadian Tire Series veterans Kerry Micks and Mark Dilley announced today that they will make a joint effort at the 2012 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Owners Championship in the No. 02 Leland/BDI Ford owned by Micks Motorsports. Micks will compete in the five road course events and Dilley will drive at the seven ovals that make up the 2012 schedule.
